Family Nest

The Name - Family Nest
Family Nest, as the name suggests, brings all the family members to one place, in an app. Just like birds, which live connected in a Nest, inspired the name of the App.
The Icon
The App's icon features a group of Birds, as Family Members, and a house design indicating that the birds (Family Members) are inside one roof, indicating that they are connected. The background has blue gradient, with the icon sketch in white.
The Design
The App's design was inspired by Google Assistant App. Google Assistant features a clean and sleek design, which I like a lot. The app has light-grey bordered containers, buttons , and text_inputs.
The buttons on the Dashboard are designed like chips (more info here - https://material.io/components/chips/#action-chips).

Family Nest has very useful features. They are -
Manage ToDo(s)
This feature allows you to keep track of things you have to do everyday. My brother always forgot to do things, so this feature is for him - he would right things down in this app. This page includes a "Add Task" area, and a "View Tasks" area. To add a task to your ToDo list, you just need to pick "Add Task" in Dashboard, and you will be sent to the "ToDo(s)" page. Here, you would need to enter a short description of your Task, and tap "Add Task". You will receive a popup, saying "Task Added!".
Track Expenses
This feature allows you to track your expenses and savings. When you tap "View total Expenses and Savings", you get redirected to "Track Expenses" page. Here, on the top is total expenses (in $) and below it is savings figure (in $). To add any expense/saving amount, you would need to enter the amount in the expense's/saving's box, and tap "Add Expense"/"Add Saving". The amount you entered, would automatically added into respective figures. This would help you summarize your expenses and savings till today.
Family Calendar
This feature helps you add an upcoming Family Event, whose info. would be accessible to all of your family members. To add an event, you would need to enter the event's date, and description. Every member could see this info through "View all Events" button in the Dashboard.
Family Wall
In the Family Wall, everyone would post their memorable Family Photos, which might include an event photo, or anything else. This feature would help everyone share photos they captured on their device, so no one asks for a photo share. To Post a photo, you would need to open the Family Wall page, select a photo from gallery, and upload it.
Mall Mate
When you are in a store/mall, this feature would help you a lot. This feature has two sub-features, Grocery List, and Find nearby Restaurants. To add an item in the Grocery List, you would need to click "Add item" in the Mall Mate area. Then, you would need to enter the item name, and tap "Add". It's features work like the ToDo list feature.
Today's Updates
This feature would show you the day's weather in brief, along with top-10 headlines. The headlines would also feature an image, with a short description. To read the full article, you would need to tap "View Full Article".

I have also used Cloudinary, so please do enter your credentials. Also, I have used two 3rd Party APIs, one for weather, and one for news. You can use my free API keys.
